Have Questions About COVID-19?

Where can I get a test? Where can I get a vaccine? Am I eligible for a vaccine? I have COVID19 but don’t have insurance, what should I do?

Since December 2020, Lifespan Local has been providing COVID-19 education to people in 11 neighborhoods of SW Denver. A relatively small, but mighty, team of 6 health educators may be seen talking to parents during after-school pickup, hosting an information table at community events, talking to people at community food distributions, or even visiting a local business. The Community Health Educators have people who speak English, Spanish, and/or Vietnamese.

A Partnership with Denver Public Health

A partnership with Denver Public Health ensures Community Health Educators have up-to-date information and are able to share needs and struggles they are hearing about with Denver Health, one of the largest health care providers in SW Denver. They are pounding the pavement to make sure residents and visitors in SW Denver (an area that has been hit hard by COVID19 infections, hospitalizations, and deaths) have accurate information about COVID19. By talking directly with people, Community Health Educators can answer specific questions and concerns.
