Lifespan Local Distributes Groceries and Supplies to SW Denver Families
It’s not often that we must deal with a public health crisis! Moments like these quickly remind us that the communities we work with are always hit first and the hardest. As news of the crisis developed, the Lifespan Local team mobilized in just under a week to give 2-weeks’ worth of food and supplies to 50 families. Through our relationships with community members and other non-profits we identified families that were the most vulnerable and most in need.

Lifespan Local Graduates First Class of Family Leadership Training Institute
More than 20 leaders from across Southwest Denver gathered with their families and friends to celebrate Lifespan Local’s first graduation of the Family Leadership Training Institute (FLTI). This 20-week leadership training program equips local leaders with knowledge and skills to support their engagement with systems at the individual, community, and policy level.
