What is NABI?
Nabi is a Korean name meaning “butterfly.” Butterflies represent the potential to cross-pollinate, inspire, and transform, and that’s what we do here.
NABI is a youth-informed creative space within the Blossom House community center in Southwest Denver. From the very beginning, NABI was designed with YOU in mind. We spent many hours over several months listening to hundreds of neighborhood youth talk about their wants and needs. Come see what we learned, and how we made this a supportive, creative space just for you.
STEM & Robotics
If you’ve ever wanted to build a robot, code an app, or design the next big invention, our STEM & robotics station is for you. Learn how to program, create cool machines, and solve real-world problems. This is where innovation begins.
Music Production
Got beats in your head or lyrics in your notes app? It’s time to let the world hear. Visit the music production studio to mix, record, and create tracks like the rockstar we know you are. We can’t wait to say, “We knew them when…”!
Digital Production
If you love podcasts, YouTube, web design, or gaming, our digital production studio is your spot. Come produce a podcast with your friends, learn the ins and outs of video editing and animation, or launch your first website—or all three!
Arts & Crafts
Experiment, explore, and create with hands-on arts and crafts. From painting and drawing to collage and sculpture, we have all the needed materials for you to put your hands to work and bring your ideas to life.
Vinyl Cutting
Come design your own stickers, T-shirts, or decals with our high-tech, professional cutters and software. Vinyl cutting allows you to embellish your clothing, notebooks, skateboards, or bedroom walls with your own unique designs.
Knitting & Sewing
Think knitting and sewing are old school? Think again. Making something from scratch is seriously satisfying. Visit our fiber art station to make your own clothes, customize thrift finds, or craft cozy accessories.
College & Career Readiness
Your future starts now, and we’re here to help you navigate it. Whether you’re thinking about college, trade school, or jumping into your dream job, we offer real-world advice that will help you crush applications, ace interviews, and build skills that set you apart.
Social & Emotional Support
Life can be overwhelming, but you’re not alone. This is a space to talk, connect, and find tools to handle stress, relationships, and mental wellness. When you need advice, a chill place to vent, or just good vibes, this is where you can find a listening, supportive ear.

Ari Gonzalez
Youth Program Director
-
Born in Bogota, Colombia, Ariackna is the daughter of Latino immigrants and knows firsthand the challenges and opportunities families face when coming to the United States. Based on those experiences, she believes in the power of education and the strength found in a united, informed, enriched community. Through her work serving youth and families in different sectors, Ariackna has developed skills needed to engage and empower people to be leaders—no matter what stage of life they are at. At NABI, Ari works to equip youth with relevant knowledge, skills, and connections, inviting them to embrace and act upon the beauty and power of their potential. Reading, hiking, listening to music, seeing new places, and random singing are some of the things that make her happy.
