About the Organization

AFRC is more than just a non-profit organization; it's a Recovery Community Organization (RCO). Founded in 2001 by a group of dedicated individuals, AFRC is a grassroots, peer-run organization comprised of people from across the state united by a common focus on recovery solutions rather than the challenges of addiction. We are committed to providing recovery support and resources to individuals navigating the often challenging road of recovery. Our journey began with the understanding that recovery extends beyond the cessation of substance use. We believe in the power of community, peer recovery support, and a solution-oriented approach.
