About the Organization
Hunger Free Colorado is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring everyone in Colorado has reliable access to affordable, nutritious food. We believe food is a fundamental human right—and we work every day to lift barriers, strengthen systems, and build communities where no one faces hunger alone.
Through advocacy, direct programming, public policy, and community partnerships, we support families as they navigate food aid resources, SNAP enrollment, school meals, and emergency assistance. From rural towns to urban neighborhoods, we adapt to local challenges and priorities.
Our work is guided by compassion, equity, and research. We know that short-term relief matters—and so does long-term change. That’s why we also fight for structural solutions: aligning resources across sectors, influencing policy, and empowering communities with tools to share their voices and shape their own food security.
At Hunger Free Colorado, we’re more than a food charity—we’re a catalyst for change, a convener of voices, and a trusted partner for every Coloradan seeking stability, dignity, and nourishment for themselves and their families.
