Community Outreach Contract Proposal
Proposal Overview:
Lifespan Local is a fast-moving, innovative, and community-driven organization. In 2025, Lifespan Local fully opened and activated Blossom House. Blossom House is an innovative community site that has a learning kitchen, a hydroponic farm, a youth space with a variety of art and learning opportunities (including high-end gaming and a recording studio), large and small spaces for community activities, an early learning center, legal supports, and the Lena Archuleta Denver Public Library (which opened in November, 2025). Lifespan Local wants to share news about the continuing activation of Blossom House with all our Westwood neighbors. We also want our neighbors to know that we not only have space for rent, but we have also educational and creative opportunities for all ages happening every month at Blossom House.
To accomplish these outreach goals, we want to hire a team of two outreach specialists who can engage with residents by going door-door and talking to them (in English and Spanish) about Blossom House, letting everyone know what Lifespan Local provides in the building and how community members can participate. We want this intentional outreach to happen during the months of May and June. This scope of work will happen over an 8-week period with the expectation that the outreach team will connect with at least 200 people each week using a combination of strategies including door-door outreach and community event outreach.
