Bilingual Mental Health Provider

Project Overview 

Lifespan Local is seeking a licensed (LPC, LCSW) bilingual mental health provider who will serve moms and caregivers of very young children who participate in the Alma program, as well as caregivers of young children who reside in Westwood and its’ surrounding neighborhoods. We want a strengths-based provider who honors diversity and culture and who can provide a safe environment for our neighbors who represent a variety of backgrounds and family experiences. We are open to this provider allocating time to establish relationships with community members through a variety of welcoming and supportive activities, from hosting cafecitos and learning sessions for all neighborhood moms and caregivers to engaging community members in formal treatment modalities, including one on one therapy.

Goal 1: Establish trust and cultivate a sense of belonging with the Alma community.

Goal 2: Provide a variety of supportive engagement activities as well as evidence-based one-one therapy.

Goal 3: Promote services within Alma as well as other Lifespan Local programs.

Goal 4: Track participation, interventions, and improvement in mental health/well-being.

Evaluation Metrics and Criteria 

  1. Numbers served in the various activities offered.

  2. Evaluate and report on improvements in mental health and well-being.

  3. Type and number of outreach efforts within Alma and across Lifespan Local programs.

Submission Requirements/Deliverables        

  1. Report on numbers served within and across activities.

  2. Report on mental health improvements in target population.

  3. Report on outreach efforts, type and frequency of each.

Budget

Not To Exceed $15,000.00. Payment schedule: ½ of accepted bid amount at start of work, ½ paid upon receipt of deliverables.
